He is vile! And trust me most immigrants, especially those who fled socialist countries like me, in no way agree with him! And are incredibly proud to be American

And yes this was still Mamdani's best foot forward ... I cringe about what he'll say in 2 months, on the 25th Anniversary of the September 11 attacks.

Wake up, NYC!!

A little more than six months into his term, Zohran Mamdani and his wife have defended terrorists, called AIPAC "monsters," and supported groups whose mission is to destroy Israel. By doing this, he stands against millions of Jews and puts New York City's Jewish community at risk.

His poison is spreading, as seen in this week's Democratic primaries that elected rabidly anti-Israel nominees who demonize pro-Israel Jews and endanger all Jews.

The Jews I know tell me that Trump is behind all the antisemitism in the U.S., and they also tell me they are very concerned about the rise of anti-Islam sentiment in Europe. Some of them talk about leaving the U.S., but say they don't know where to go, "because Israel is so terrible." I have tried to gently question their beliefs about the sources of antisemitism in the U.S., but they get agitated and hostile like leftists always do when they think someone is "on the Other Side."

Sad they are suffering from Cognitive Dissonance and lacking Jewish/Torah knowledge.

As many others have pointed out, the people who have abandoned their traditional faiths have replaced them with the woke cult and its hatreds of the month.

I was telling a friend that "American exceptionalism" is the idea that anyone who comes here, works hard, and plays by the rules can make it in America, like my family and I have since we arrived in 1976. You are not defined by your ancestry or socioeconomic status the way you are in many other parts of the world. Ironically, something that Mamdani will never admit is that it is the Christian worldview that America was founded on that makes this possible. Christianity teaches that "there is neither Jew nor Greek [ethnicity], slave nor free [socioeconomic status], for you are all one in Christ Jesus." American exceptionalism would never be possible in Mamdani's Islamic worldview. There is not a single Islamic society where you can become anything you want regardless of your ethnicity or socioeconomic status. Even in a moderate Islamic country like the UAE, Indian workers are an underclass.

Wow, that is a dour looking group of socialists standing behind the Ayatollah Mamdani. And why is he sitting on the wrong side of the desk?

Dystopian.

DarkSkyBest's avatar

The desk thing is intriguing. He does nothing that is not an intentional message. Maybe it’s, “Washington who?”

Richard's avatar

Actually, he was sitting in front of the GW desk. He really shouldn't be considered either an immigrant or an American. He is best described as a nepo baby and globalist oligarch. These are people who deny the existence of countries and have no homeland other than interchangeable urban centers.

I'm reading this article aloud to my Mom now so we can heal from just watching his "speech." He really thinks he's a National thought leader when he's really a puppet and an idiot

DarkSkyBest's avatar

He is no idiot. He is a smiling villain, and is cooperating intentionally with the jihad Game Plan.

Elizabeth's avatar

I was just about to message you and ask your thoughts about this contemptible speech!! My mom and I are just now seeing it on YouTube and I have said more swear words in the last 13 minutes than I have in the last 10 years 😂 He's deplorable and contemptible and so much more. I can't....

"The rest of us, they insist, should be grateful for merely being allowed to visit." -- Interesting. He seems to be making the case that he is a visitor to our country.

This picture, and the whole DSA movement, has a Children of the Corn vibe to it.

Our media and people we never see are so evil, he never should have been anywhere near a microphone, interloper is a kind phrase for a real hateful invader

Obama’s speech was also horrendous which was true to his form as rejecting the greatness of America

Steven Brizel's avatar

This was a truly horrendous speech!

Unfortunately, this kind of self-flagellating hating of America, capitalism, freedom, and Western values is what the Democrats think of as a party. They have become very negative generally in their outlook and their expression, verbally and otherwise. The Democrats I know who attend church and synagogue services listen to hateful sermons just like what Mamdani delivered, and come out of the experience feeling very good about themselves and bad about the rest of us.

Operator Dawn's avatar

We need new churches and call out the bad ones so people know whats going on behind closed doors

We Americans either stop this communist insanity this November, or we will have more lunatics to deal with by 2028. Comrade Mamdani is a disgrace but so are the many New Yorkers who didn't bother to vote in last year's primary or this year's primary and that is how these communists get in.

I truly despise this caricature of a leader. Nothing he has to say is worth considering. I pity the next mayor who will be charged with cleaning up his mess.
