Batya, the most devastating to me is Megyn Kelly. I'm sure you saw her clip yesterday (I don't follow her anymore but saw the clip on X) with her praising Tuckers NY Times interview and Islam and how her eyes have opened on Israel! WTAF!!! She has really gone off the deep end and so many of the sane people that loved and listened to her everyday since 2020 don't recognize her. I remember you being on her show just before her total freakout over Ben Shapiro calling out her cowardess. After that she just went completely off the rails against the Jews because a Jew called her out for not defendingErika Kirk. I just can't tell you how disappointing this still is to people like myself who really thought she had so much common sense. She has gone full in on hating Israel and Jews blaming them for Trump going to war and it's just so sad for her former fans like me! Even her husband doesn't agree with her!! Thankful for you and the other sane people we have left!

The most pressing antisemitic threat in America today arises from a disturbing alliance between far-left activists and Islamic extremists. This threat is compounded by the damaging rhetoric from far-right figures like Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, and Andrew Tate. These individuals not only undermine Israel's right to defend itself but also perpetuate harmful stereotypes about Jewish people and introduce new antisemitic myths.

The Nick Fuentes' and Marjorie Taylor Greens' of this country are too politically loose and stupid to be consequential beyond their proverbial 15 minutes of fame, akready expired.

What does matter, and demands appropriate popular pushback, is a Democratic Party that has gone off the rails in its desperate power-grabbing quest to rebuild a governing coalition of every disaffected, disparate, politically looney or illegal attention seeker out there.

Fortunately, for America, it still requires majority support to hold power, and America's majority is still as comfortably sane as it is law-abiding, aware and awake.

Democrats may want to brace for a wake-up call come November's midterms.

I really hope you're right about November

Sadly, I fear too many American Jews hate Trump more than they love themselves. I think the Dems will do well in November and that is very bad news for the Jewish people.

This is a very good article, Batya! Very insightful as well! The right closed ranks and made it clear that far-right antisemites like Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, Nick Fuentes, Megyn Kelly, and Alex Jones are not welcome in the Republican Party. But the Democratic Party and the left openly embrace the far-right because they share a common hatred of Israel and the Jewish people. Nick Fuentes coming out as a moderate Democrat doesn’t surprise me. President Trump openly denounces antisemitism and the far-right as does many Republican elected officials and most MAGA voters. Most of the latter backed Operation Epic Fury against Iran as well. The left on the other hand had no problem embracing Maine Senate Candidate Graham Platner who has a Nazi tattoo, Hasan Piker who is a Hamas lover and The Squad who accuse Israel of a fake genocide, and is trying to kick John Fetterman out of the party for among other things, being so supportive of Israel and the Iran War.

The Democratic Party also has done nothing of substance about fighting antisemitism, while the Republican Party has worked aggressively to fight it. Ana Kasparian being a Candace Owens fan, Tucker Carlson wanting to get Graham Platner on his show and Nick Fuentes joining the Democratic Party are all things bound to happen to anyone paying attention. Horseshoe theory in action folks! There is antisemitism on the right, but there are MUCH higher levels of it on the left! Jews are gradually more and more bolting the Democratic Party and its little wonder why. Liberal Jews express feeling lonely and not being accepted by their side. I would not at all be surprised to someday see the KKK, the National Socialist Movement and the League of the South forming an alliance with Antifa, BLM and Redneck Revolt on their shared hatred of Jews and Israel.

Adolf Hitler and Josef Stalin had little in common accept that is, for their hatred of the Jews. As to the Democratic Party, I think their TDS and desire to win in the game of partisan politics has gotten so bad, they’ll do anything to stick it to Trump and the GOP including working with the far-right and open bigots. The ends justify the means in their minds. This isn’t the party of Jefferson and Jackson anymore. The Democratic Party is now owned lock, stock and barrel by the DSA. The old Democratic Party of FDR, Harry Truman, Henry Wallace, JFK, LBJ, and Jimmy Carter is now a thing of the past I’m sorry to say. I can’t believe this is the same party that gave us the New Deal, the Great Society, civil rights legislation, equal pay of women, gay marriage, LGBT civil rights, the ADA, landmark environmental legislation, and Obamacare. It absolutely blows my mind!

Glad to know the antisemites have been kicked out of the GOP! Regarding Iran and nuclear weapons, I'm not sure that people know or remember that Iran signed the Nonproliferation Treaty that went into force in 1970. IAEA inspects and reports compliance of signatories in support of the treaty which is why inspectors were in Iran.

I hope your readership includes lots of Jews. This is a message they need to hear and other than the Orthodox have been ignoring for several generations.

Thank you Batya. It is about being in the caste, of the State party as Milei will describe it: false political options to keep a status quo where nothing changes with an elite dominating a narrative pretending to be an alternative that it is not authentic.

The Dems are accepting Fuentes into their party? I'd be highly surprised.

Dutchmn007's avatar

Just like Platner, they’ll find & make excuses.

Richard's avatar

They don't have any problem with Platner.

They're ENDORSING a man with a Nazi tattoo. How can you be surprised?
