I can't tell you how many homeless people (and their loved ones) have expressed resentment that so many resources are dedicated to non-citizens, while Americans with mental illness and addiction are left to suffer and die on the streets. I have seen one too many "enlightened" progressives step over the bodies of their homeless neighbors to attend an illegal immigrant "rights" rally. This cruelty and hypocrisy has got to stop.

She might just have said, “Where shall we get our serfs?” Indeed, she meant to add, “Where shall we get our voters?” The 10 million, that’s who the Trump Campaign promised to send back home, not just the worst of the worst, not just evicting the criminals. The Nancy Pelosis not only damaged the country in so many ways but also acted against the illegal immigrants by intending a serf class. The criminal act was not the illegal immigrants’; the criminal act was perpetrated by the Nancy Pelosis, that is, the Biden Administration’s. That they did not vet sufficiently, or not at all, was a real criminal act. The American People were the victims of these Bidens and Pelosis. Crime was inevitable - and continues to be inevitable. The Democrats intend further degradations of America in their various actions preventing deportation. Their “various actions” are manifold. The campaign promise to deport illegal immigrants under the Biden/Pelosi Administration was an appeal to the people to rectify the machinations that had occurred … and prevent the machinations that are occurring now, and were foreseeable.
I don't know if I'll ever be able to wrap my head around this Dem desire to eliminate the US border and let everyone and anyone pour in -- and vote. Ok, I think I just solved the mystery.
It makes me LOL that progressives try to make the argument that illegal aliens commit slightly less crime than American citizens. There's so much wrong there that I don't know where to start.
I will simply observe that this must be the reason why the good, selfless, Dem-voting dwellers of Martha's Vineyard so warmly embraced the busloads of illegal immigrants that showed up on their doorstep.
Oh, wait. No, actually, they shipped them out ASAP. The MV folks will take the cheap labor, but, uhm, those "less crime-causey than Americans" illegals will just have to live elsewhere.
Whenever we talk about illegal immigration, I always ask, "what law am I or my children allowed to break?" Can I skip paying taxes, or drive drunk one time with no consequences? I doubt it. This is a fundamental question that should be considered along with the other economic issues you discuss in the piece.
A clear statement of the most compelling case against illegal immigration: it impairs the interests of poor and working Americans. And elite opponents benefit from cheaper help. It also breeds cynicism: Americans struggling to get by following the law see that the law doesn’t matter when it comes to favored groups.

The reality is the democrats don’t really have compassion for illegals, they’re hypocrites, the only reason democrats want them to stay is to gain a huge voting block 85% of which will vote D. Perpetually keeping Dems in power. Here’s a list of who should be deported immediately. Illegal criminals, doesn’t matter the crime, illegal single, military age men. They drive down wages as reported. VISA overstays. Illegals who are on Medicaid, SNAP, housing vouchers. There will be several million families with small children in school speaking English who have committed no crimes, are working (wage issues?). They should be allowed to stay and have a rigorous path to citizenship. Why? The US birth replacement rate is 1.6, full replacement is 2.1. If this is allowed to persist we will be headed for demographic disaster like China, Russia. Legal immigration needs to be only for those who can bring added merit to our country. Batya needs to become more knowledgeable about the low birth replacement issue.
But I also rely on the data. That data shows his support is actually INCREASING as the realization that when Steven Miller/Trump said "criminal illegal aliens" they meant any and everyone, not just those with violent criminal records (i.e. gangbangers, rapists, etc.) Or that "Mass Deportation" signs actually meant anyone here that is undocumented, not just "the bad ones."
The big primary benefit is that that while many "Latinos for Trump" have excellent English, they are finally learning Caucasian, which is an important skill as a non-white in America

Only 5 years, no quotas and an incentive to bypass legal immigration... If you came legally for work and from India or China, your EB3 green card (which is already processed) would be available in 10-12 years, due to quotas and backlogs. Not to mention quotas on work visas. LEGAL immigration takes longer than 5 years unless you have immediate family members, US citizens, to sponsor you or you literarily won a green card lottery. But come illegally and enjoy preferential treatments, while creating even longer wait times for legal immigrants, since it's the same processing system.
