Zeldin was himself almost the victim of a stabbing at a campaign event in 2022. He reflected on our current moment and the big news stories of the week.
Purple haired ideologue has no idea what she is talking about.
Scientific method is a out questioning statistics essentially. If hardliners such as the illustrious female weren't so inflexible in their dogma, then better quality discussions and narrative may be possible.
Again, socialists destroy ANY concern for ecological systems sustainability with their Marxist nonsense 🙄
Thank you, Batya for a very good interview with EPA chief Lee Zeldin. I didn't know Mr. Zeldin was the victim of an attempted stabbing! That is absolutely terrible! But sadly, it doesn't surprise me. He is a conservative and he is Jewish, so for those reasons he has a target on his back. Political violence is predominately on the left so we shouldn't be surprised Mr. Zeldin had an attempt made on his life. There are endless videos on the internet of liberal and leftist students attacking, assaulting and tearing up displays of conservative students. Not to mention when pro-Palestinian and pro-Hamas basically took over public land and built encampments. There was the attempted assassination of Rep. Steve Scalise of Louisiana at the Congressional Baseball Field in 2017. How about in March 2017, when hundreds of students at Middlebury College shut down a talk by writer Charles Murray. They yelled chants at Murray for 20 minutes until the talk was cancelled. Murray and Professor Alison Stranger were attacked by members of Antifa as they left. They pounded on, climbed on and block the car from leaving. Stranger suffered a concussion as a result. A year ago, Charlie Kirk was assassinated at Utah State University. Not to mention the THREE assassination attempts on President Trump. Being on the right and/or MAGA, people assume you are racist, sexist, antisemitic, homophobic, transphobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic, a pedophile, etc. Everyone from the Democratic Party to the mainstream media to celebrities to academia espouse hatred and violence against President Trump and those on the right. On energy policy, the Trump administration has been amazing! President Trump has leaned in hard to fossil fuels and fracking and has removed burdensome regulations on the building of nuclear plants. The removal of the 2009 Environmental Protection Agency endangerment finding was done for a very simple reason-you can't just interpret into a law whatever you want.
I wish I had a chance to talk to him about regulatory issues. In particular, Alaska and its huge problem with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineer's wetlands program. Over 40% of the surface of Alaska is classified under the old Obama rules as "wetlands". This makes it extraordinarily expensive to develop our natural resources and access corridors. Currently, the Army Corps is operating in defiance of SCOTUS and the 2023 Sackett ruling. It truly is a rogue agency and it's costing Alaskans a tremendous amount of money and stifling our ability to expand our economy. Is there a whistleblower program with the EPA?
Thank you Batya! It was a good interview.

Another great show. BTW you should have Sasha Stone on some time.
That’s what happens when you’re an idiot, talking bullshit. Republicans can just keep crying, they know they’re losing they’re desperate.
Blah blah blah crying Republicans, they’re desperate. They know they’re losing. Keep up the good work.
