Thank you Batya for delineating what so many of us on the right know. The mainstream media would love to have everyone think the right is fracturing because of the Tuckers and the Candaces of the podcast universe. I don’t believe it for a second. The vast majority of us know how precious the vital relationship with Israel is in our mutual defense of the West.
NO Kent. It is blatantly obvious that except for Tucker, Candace, Nick Fuentes and a few other equally twisted, emotionally handicapped people — all the hate is on the left.
"As a Jewish convert to Orthodox Christianity with a fairly wide set of historical books under my belt, it troubles me to see some hierarchs and channels following the world's narrative about "anti-Semitism" and all the things that have been done to "combat anti-Semitism." I'll tell you directly, as a 100% pure blooded Ashkenazi man, how to fix "anti-Semitism:" Anti-Semitism will end when faithless Jews leave other groups of people alone and stop trying to transform their nations and cultures in ways that invariably harm the populations in question. It is really not that complicated.”
Absolutely spot on! I live in a very conservative mid-size city in the heart of the South’s Bible Belt, and the ONLY anti-Jewish-Israel-Zionist comments I hear come from our local leftists. All of my MAGA or even neocon friends support Israel and often go out of their way to distance themselves from the Tucker-Candace-MTG axis of opportunistic evil. So much of this “fracture” is media hype and/or wishful thinking. The left, on the other hand, has turned a corner. Sadly, I don’t see anything or anyone who can redeem them on this issue. It’s now part of their DNA.
You know, when I read that NYT headline (about the guy being a quiet restaurant worker), it made me wonder what the purpose of the messaging is.
On one hand, I have the clear sterilizing of this person to make him seem like he wasn't a bad guy, just a "victim" of "circumstance" (as long as you don't look or think to hard)
On the other hand, we'll, how would that headline read to someone who was already predisposed to, for a lack of a better word, "islamaphobia"? It's almost like the NYT is telling certain people "even the Muslim at your local deli that you have talked to could be a fanatical terrorist"
The headline itself seems to be a bit of a Rorschach test...
“Of course, this is not to deny that characters like Nick Fuentes, Candace Owens, and Tucker Carlson…”
And others. You know who I’m talking about. I don’t know why she continues down this path. Until Kirk’s assassination she was someone I watched everyday on YouTube. Now I can’t stand to watch. I don’t know what happened.
Carlson, his small band of narcissists, and the Dems are basically choosing people who want to vaporize us over people who have always been allies. It boggles the mind to consider how malleable people can be when presented with illogical arguments from the media.
Your username is fake news if you actually believe that. It’s not even close.
It’s institutionalized on the left, which is far worse than a handful of idiot fringe podcasters on the right. It’s made its way into legacy media, just look at the puff pieces on anything to do with Islam. The obituary of the ayatollah in NYT for example. The CNN post about the nice Muslim boys on a spring outing into NYC who just happened to throw a couple of bombs. Anything published by the guardian. The BBC might as well be renamed to Al Jareez London. American universities, especially the prestigious Ivy League ones. My normal, left of center friends are convinced Israel committed genocide in its war against Hamas. Meanwhile they don’t bat an eye when Iran murders tens of thousands of its citizens in a matter of days.
Meanwhile, you have a Republican in power who is the most friendly US President ever to Israel. Even my most conservative coworkers are confused at Tucker’s evolution. We all laugh at his simping for Islam. It’s obvious he’s either gone insane or has been bought out by the Qataris.
Israel is fucked the next time the mealy mouth spineless Democrats regain power. Unless it’s Shapiro or Fetterman, who id both gladly vote for. Anyway, I hope this provides some insight.
My name is …my name LOL. I didn’t seek the Politburo approval for it.
You don’t have to convince me that democrats are antisemitic and anti-Israeli. I know it for a fact. But the growing number of conservative or even centrist media celebrities that we trusted and agreed with before and who are now losing their marbles on Jew-hating ground is alarming. And it should be to you too. And I think it is because you are angry and are trying to prove to yourself mostly that everything is fine on the right side of political spectrum. It is not. And it should scare all of us. Pretending it is not so is burying our heads in the sand.

Yeah, it seems to be more ‘the squeaky wheel getting the oil’ than a movement that has substantial popular support on the right.
Thank you, Batya. I read your book. I have been watching you on NewsNation for a long time, including your Saturday show. Keep up the great work.

So accurate - and articulated - Batya!

Same here, Ronnie. Things are different here in the South. We’ve not abandoned Israel.
Tucker Carlson snd Candace Owens have totally lost the plot. So has Megyn Kelly. Zero credibility.

The Left hates Jews because they are highly successful and refuse to be victims. Islam is the polar opposite.
Thank you Batya. Great article.

The parallels to 1968 are striking.

Hizballah is definitely left aligned, but this guy’s problem is he was a Muslim and a foreigner. He should not have been in this country.
Elizabeth: I complemented BATYA. Your comment to me is a non-Sequitur. Go floss your teeth.
Sorry. Not Kent. Independent Observer.
Jew hatred seems to be a race between left and right, and at the moment it is hard to predict the winner.

This is my opinion. I don’t have to agree with Batya.
This is exactly the opposite of what Batya said in this article. Did you even read it before commenting?
Lol. Ok ;)
