Seems POTUS DJT has pulled a Sun Tzu move; he’s economically body slammed China. This would appear to take the major potential flashpoint- Taiwan - off the table. Instead of confronting the issue head on: will the U.S. stand for/commit troops to/send Navy to support/go to war for Taiwan he has side stepped all this entirely by taking the means by which China would make a move on Taiwan off the table.
As Sun Tzu said, the best war is won is that which you don’t fight. This is unparalleled brilliance. Any tête-à-tête vis-a-vis the Chinese would probably go nuclear within a very short time so - for the world - this is a win-win.
He’s also knee-capped the Russians economically as well & it doesn’t end there; if the mullahs are kicked to the curb in Iran there goes funding for Hamas/IslamicJihad/any terrorist organization.
If all this holds - & an Iran turn around is successful - we’re dealing with possibly the greatest presidential admin in history.

I would be remiss in not rounding out/pointing out the fact that DJT had already decapitated Venezuela, from which China also received a sizable supply of oil. China appears to be over a barrel - literally. And Cuba - also dependent on Venezuelan oil - could see their communist dictatorship finally implode.
Perhaps I was ahead of the curve; just turned on Glenn Beck & he’s talking about some column in Politico saying - essentially- the same thing.
Wouldn't it be nice if now that the military action was taken, instead of Congress crying, they actually put both houses fully behind the liberation of Iran. Take a vote, but make it a vote to declare war on the old regime, and peace on the new government of Iran.
In addition to accomplishing many good things for Iran’s people and for global peace, Trump’s actions are also confounding our domestic enemies, which is always icing on the cake for me 🎂
Probably the biggest effect is that the belief that the US will do anything, absorb any insult, tolerate all and any threats to avoid military action has been refuted. Prior to Trump, the entire world expected nothing but appeasement from the US. If you don't stand up to a bully, you will take beatings continually. Trump is standing up to them. Reality is dawning.
In case you're wondering we have BDS here in Israel. Between the leftist politicians (fortunately not all but many at the moment) and the leftist media one gets an extremely distorted view of popular opinion. Similar to TDS.

It bugs me how Trump asserts three purposes of this campaign, when in fact there appear to be four or five.
