Strategic ambiguity is one thing. Semantic ambiguity, because you can’t frame a sentence, is another.

Although an extremely skillful statesman may feign the latter to pursue the former. See generally The Hidden-Hand Presidency: Eisenhower as Leader, by Fred I. Greenstein, 1982.

Even if you don’t agree with their positions…Jefferson, FDR, JFK, …..AOC?!? How far we have fallen.

You hit the nail on the head because the Demtoids have no answers other than a wealth tax and reparations. Funny thing about taxes they often don’t get help people need but they do pay off quite well for the grifter in line.

Sorry but you don’t understand. If you want peace, prepare for war. Saying you’re ready to send troops to Taiwan is the only way to stop the Chinese from attacking Taiwan. But your threat must be credible. That’s why Trump plays the game so well. “He’s crazy”… they say. No, he isn’t, but he wants you to think twice before threatening American interests. AOC is a joke. The whole current Democrat party is.

Batya, I respectfully disagree. This is THE fundamental foreign policy problem of our generation - likely our greatest existential threat. She should have thought it through a long time ago.

She’s a complete retard.

I think you’ve got her beat in that department.

Of course you would think that. Because you don’t think, dipshit.

AOC is not schooled in history. She is attractive and brazen, so she gets a lot of attention. Coaches can only do so much if you're fundamentally lacking in knowledge.

I hate to say this, it’s hurting me… but I’m actually agreeing with you on AOC here. However, just to be a bit contrary… it didn’t look like she was composing her thoughts during her 20 second stutter… it looked and felt like she was clueless to any ideas or thoughts about this question. That the interviewer actually might have stumped her. I think that’s what the reaction is now to AOC and overall summit. It felt like she was in over her head and out of her limits.

But "and we want to make sure that we are moving in all of our economic research ". What research? Capitalism vs her filth socialism? What "research"? Did she mean "economic power"? "Economic abilities"? What did that mean?

Sorry, this is a horrid answer, from a non-thinking person, who should never be in a position of ANY power over anyone. The people of NY are clowns for putting her in place, and this, along with everything she said in Munich, is the reason why.

I’m still trying to figure out how taxing corporate income affects product pricing less than tariffs. It’s the opposite, actually. Taxing profits applies to all products, whether made in the US or not. Tariffs only affect products made outside the US that are subject to the tariffs.

Which is why tariffs are better in this case

AOC’s response felt like it had 2 parts. The first part was “the deer in the headlights” and the second was a prepared response, almost like memorized or fed to her ear piece. Weird.

The most depressing thing about her performance was the build-up describing all the high-level coaching she was getting from Dem policy experts. Something didn't work, and it might have been the absence of expertise in her coaches.

Having had 50+ years to consider Taiwan/ China I have formed my own solution. We need a Rapid Removal Division combining elements of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Space Force to game plan a massive exodus of chip technology, scientists, equipment, straight to a US facility should it come to a hot war. Note to Chyna: We are not committing troops or defensive posture. A mass evacuation much larger than Vietnam. Evac as many Taiwanese as possible. No hot engagement with Chyna.

At her level she should have came prepared with a polished answer. ChatGPT it on the flight over!

Sorry, but she sounds like an idiot, and if she’s on the democratic presidential ticket in 2028, you might as well just give it to Vance.
