The Shellenberger discussion was excellent. Thanks for letting us sit in on it.

Imagine a corporate media where you got conversations like this. I especially like that even on the areas of disagreement there exists the presumption of good will, assumption of nuance and a tacit agreement that none of us are necessarily “right” on all of these things

Loved it all around. There is so much good about this conversation. I have never had much hope for the average person's ability to side with the best thinkers and that hasn't changed. What we need are a core group of level-headed people who have consciously thrown off the inciting rhetoric and chart a path straight through the middle.

Oh this was SO GOOD!!! And I, too- while thankful for the good many have done- am relieved that the podcaster’s are not as powerful as they perhaps fancied themselves. It’s not healthy for any group in any direction. I have loathe legacy media and their very cunning way of lying and manipulating for decades (since I was a teen!). However, the way the Wild West of new media has devolved esp over the last 1-2 years isn’t much better. They are doing the SAME THING that mainstream did and I hope individual Americans figure this out very quickly. Be very selective in who gets to influence your mind!

Thank you for this interview! Two very classy people. I would love a future "lesson" from you Batya on how you examine and reflect on the difference of opinion you have with people. to ensure you are not experiencing confirmation bias.

What an amazing person. To be able to look critically at yourself and change your opinion to a more informed, intelligent position is admirable. Especially if you are a public figure subjected to constant critique.

I really appreciate this conversation as someone who became politically homeless! Thank you both!
