Respect to you for your willingness to take on hard topics with someone you already know disagrees with you. He shifted into purely TDS personal opinion without facts in his Iran diatribe and it was pretty ugly how he wouldn’t let you speak and then hammered you over and over on the same question. You are amazing how you handle yourself and keep your sense of humor. God bless you.

Engaging conversation. Appreciated the civility bounding the lively discussion. I was in the middle before watching this and am still there. But it's good to air this stuff out.

My opinion is that Batya extended remarkable grace and courtesy to one that that deserved neither. He was obnoxious to the degree of a Tucker Carlson espousing opinions ranging from WWII to the present war in Iran that simply aren’t born out in the historical record. While obviously intelligent and dogged in his pursuits, his pressured speech and fidgety demeanor leads one to believe that there is more than a single screw loose. Doubtless he adds a unique perspective on a wide variety of subjects while happily denigrating all those who with opposing views.

No apologies needed Batya, my pre-show questions wee answered and in his own words, I’m not turning into a fan of his anytime soon. You have shown us yet again what makes you the success you are and it’s impressive. Wow, into the den you hurled yourself.

Interestingly, on the subject of Iran Michael appears to be an American firster.

For myself, I make no bones about the vital importance of neutralizing Irain's nuclear and missile ambitions, not because they would threaten America (I don't think they would) but because they would endanger the existence of the state of Israel.

Furthermore, I will frankly admit that my support for the continued existence of the state of Israel is on civilizational grounds, not for reasons of state. The Jewish people have always been an integral part of our Judeo-Christian civilization, of which America is likewise an integral part as well as being at present its only credible defender. Thus our motives are civilizational in nature, not narrowly for what would be good for American people in the short-run.

Of course one can argue about whether Western civilization is in fact and at heart Judeo-Christian, by which I mean in terms of those Hebraic values that we in the West hold are most sacred, and that distinguish the West from every other civilization that has ever existed.

It's a debate I would not shy away from having, provided the American people are the ones who get to decide. Let me close by pointing out that a culture--any culture--that is not transmitted from one generation to the next will quickly disappear.

Dude, when she's already speaking, you still feel free to just start talking as if another voice presently speaking has nowhere near the value as yours. That is SO incredibly DISRESPECTFUL. It's clear you love to hear yourself speaking.

Strident and insufferable. No humor, no grace. Batya probably was as surprised as her listeners at how grim (angry?) and self-absorbed this guy is. Wasn’t enough to go on and on w his answers - he had to start interrogating and denouncing Batya. Ugh.

Good stuff but I wish he could respond to a question without a lengthy stream of consciousness narrative that goes on until you have to interrupt him. Does he think that he’s so brilliant that we want to hear him talk non-stop?

I appreciate both your work and Mr. Tracey's, and though I don't fully agree with either you on most topics, I really find the fact that both of you can maintain your civility and good humor with this level disagreement to be quite wholesome (and unfortunately rare).

Only listened to a bit of this live and then the very beginning of the recording. That’s all I ever need to hear from Michael Tracey. He came across as the stereotypical arrogant progressive.

This guy went to Israel for 10 days, was shown around by Israel haters and now presents his opinion as having some value. Batya, what's up with you? This guy is an as*hole
