Europe Is for Them—Trump Is for You
The real message of Davos: The days of European elites who depend on us for their freedom lecturing us and sneering at us are over.
The President traveled to Davos, Switzerland for the World Economic Forum, where the global elite gather annually to discuss the fate of the world.
Whatever was on the agenda, it got scrapped when the President insisted we need to own Greenland and threatened to tariff any European countries standing in our way.
Of course, he never meant it.
The Greenland Gambit was designed to freak the Europeans out so they would give the President what he actually wanted; he secured the framework of a deal within hours of landing.
We don’t know exactly what will be in that deal for a while, but don’t be mistaken: This week wasn’t about Greenland. It was about Trump’s willingness to infuriate the pompous global glitterati to pursue America’s best interests.
It’s what his supporters love about him: He’s a finger in the eye of the elites who sneer at them while selling out them and their children.
That’s what we really saw in Davos—a split screen for the ages: Sneering European leaders doubling down on all the policies that destroyed the West and the working class, and Donald Trump showing the world what it looks like to put your own people first.
”China is welcome, but what we need is more Chinese foreign direct investments in Europe, in some key sectors, to contribute to our growth, to transfer some technologies,” says Macron.
Can you even imagine asking for that in 2026?
China, our leading adversary, flooded our markets with cheap goods, bought up our debt and farmland, and is constantly undermining our working class.
But France wants more!
Mark Carney, Prime Minister of Canada, doubled down on free trade:
“In the past few days, we’ve concluded new strategic partnerships with China and Qatar. We’re negotiating free trade pacts with India, ASEAN, Thailand, Philippines and Mercosur,” bragged Carney.
The exact kind of free trade Trump did away with because it makes the working class poor—Canada wants more!
And listen to Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, on what she thinks is best for Europe right now:
“Europe will always choose the world, and the world is ready to choose Europe.”
Did you catch that?
Europe is for them.
Trump is for you.
That was Trump’s message in Davos:
This global world order in which countries who need us more than we need them think they can lecture us while it’s our taxpayer dollars defending their freedom, in which elites make policy that makes them rich and the working class poor, in which everyone comes before you—those days are over.

Batya, Canadian here. We DO NOT want more except our government pays the media and runs fear campaigns the boomers fall for. Elbows up! It appeals to their superiority complex over Americans. You know those who think they’re so smart because secretly they know they aren’t?
That’s us, well that’s the Laurentian elite and the boomers. Albertans have had enough and we want out before china’s iron curtain closes on us
Canadian here. I am embarrassed snd ashamed to be a Canadian right now. Mark Carney is not my prime minister and I am a boomer who voted conservative, I do hope Alberta is successful in its endeavours. These elites with their superiority disgust me. All they are interested in is taking from the working class. Always enjoy reading your articles Batya.
